Night mode
If enabled the maximum charge current is limited to 50% of the maximum rated charge current and the cooling fan will be disabled for a period of 8 hours (typically overnight).
Once 8 hours have elapsed or if the charger is disconnected from mains power, night mode will be disabled and the charger will return to normal operation with maximum rated charge current available, and cooling fan operation enabled.
Night mode is particularly useful to provide a period of totally silent operation when charging overnight.
When night mode is enabled the NIGHT LED will be illuminated.
Night mode can be enabled and disabled via the MODE button on the charger or a Bluetooth enabled device (such as a mobile phone or tablet) with the VictronConnect app; refer to the 'Setup > Setup using the charger' and 'Setup > Setup using Bluetooth' section for more information.
