Metstrade Amsterdam 2026

The world’s largest Marine Equipment exhibition: November 17-19

Metstrade is held at the RAI Amsterdam and is open on November 17th, 18th, and 19th, from 10AM.

Visit us on stand 01.541 to see the latest developments from our electronics and software engineers.

For more than 50 years we’ve been developing cutting-edge battery-based power systems for marine applications, for vehicles, at home, in Industry, both on and off the grid.

Today, we offer the largest and the most fully-featured range of power conversion, storage and management devices: Inverters, Chargers, Converters – all with the smartest fingertip control.

Reliable power to meet any load; navigation system integration; smart/automated energy installations; cross-industry device compatibility – learn more from our knowledgeable staff who will be on hand to answer all your questions and to highlight our latest products and developments which include:

Koro 640 GX S

The Koro 640 GX S sits at the heart of DC distribution providing communication, connectivity and control. It makes mobile power installations easy. With integrated battery charging; solar and alternator charge control; multiple fused DC connections; battery monitor; full system communication; local and remote user monitoring; smart dimming & switching of loads and more. The Koro 640 GX S brings smart home automations to your boat or RV.

Suitable for 12V or 24V environments it includes two MPPT solar chargers; a DC-DC charger; Battery Monitor; fused DC distribution bus bars together with a GX communication centre. Charge the batteries from alternator and PV, run DC loads, run an Inverter/Charger, switch/dim lighting and turn devices on and off.

All Input/output services can be controlled from a phone or GX Touch UI, programmed to trigger automations; smart switching; dim lighting; monitor tank levels. Controlled charge/discharge the Koro 640 GX S takes care of it all.

BMV-812 Smart

For around 20 years, the BMV series has set the standard for battery monitoring. With the BMV-812 Smart, we’ve kept the best of that familiar design and brought it into the modern world with a full-colour touchscreen.

Building on the compact format of the BMV-712, the new interface makes battery information easier to read and explore. Supporting 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V systems, it provides state of charge, voltage, current, time to go, and audible and visual alarms. Connectivity with GX devices and the VictronConnect app keeps your battery information available wherever you need it.

Designed as a drop-in replacement for older BMV models, the BMV-812 Smart offers a straightforward upgrade while maintaining compatibility with existing installations. The new display also creates room for future features and interface improvements through software updates

Cerbo GX MK3

Same super connectivity – larger processor.
The Cerbo MK3 has all the familiar features of this hugely successful communication centre but adds additional processing power allowing it to speed through the demands of increasingly complex installations including Node-RED programme automations offering smart switching and enabling features such as Opportunity Loads (see also below).

All versions of the Cerbo GX offer an extensive range of VE.Bus, VE.Can, VE.Direct, USB, and digital ports allowing seamless integration and control of Victron Energy and supported Third Party devices.

Nucleo GX

Nucleo GX is an economic version of the Cerbo GX communication centre ideal for smaller marine systems which don’t need VE.Bus communication.

It connects to VE.Can and VE.Direct devices to provide whole-system control; Multi Function Display (MFD) compatibility and NMEA 2000 integration. It enables Node-RED programming
and accepts Tank-level, temperature and digital inputs via an optional dongle.

It is the logical choice for two kinds of systems: those built around an RS or HS series inverter/charger/solar controllers, connected via VE.Can, and smaller systems like Battery monitors, MPPTs, Orion XS and Smart IP43 Chargers, connected via VE.Direct.

If at a later stage more ports are needed to connect more devices, simply add a GX IO-Extender 150.

GX Boat Page and E-drive integration

At the show, try our live GX Boat Page for yourself – it’s the UI display feature dedicated to boats fitted with E-drives. Providing comprehensive at a glance information relating to boat performance and battery consumption, the latest exciting developments include dual E-drive data for multi-hulled vessels.

Estimated Range is dynamically calculated from live consumption data (Wh/NM), battery SoC, and discharge floor.
Sea/wind conditions are always changing: monitor the energy used during the last nautical mile.
Temperature information is available for: Motor, Coolant, Controller and Battery.
GPS obtained speed-filtering results in a more reliable and stable speed estimate.
Battery charge from shore power dynamics are displayed – together with a warning if the drive is ever engaged whilst the boat is still connected to shore power.

GX Opportunity Loads

ESS or mobile installations having a GX communication device can take advantage of a powerful new feature which maximises self consumption of Solar Energy when all essential loads are being met, the batteries are full – and yet there is plenty of solar power still available.
When user-defined parameters are met the GX Opportunity Loads feature will automatically send energy to other non essential utilities according to a priority list set by the user – watermaker, boiler, HVAC – for example.

The feature supports Shelly Smart Relays – and Victron EV Charging Station! Utilities can be turned on individually or in groups and because load switching is performed centrally, energy use is controlled intelligently with real time monitoring of all system parameters.

Smart Alternator Sense

Smart Alternator Sense is a new accessory for the Orion XS family of DC-DC battery chargers. Paired via VE.Smart Networking, the Smart Alternator Sense measures engine RPM, alternator temperature and voltage. This information can be used by the Orion XS to enhance alternator protection by reducing the charge current when the alternator runs hot and adds the possibility to scale the charge current with engine RPM. The RPM sense also offers an alternative engine-on detection – independent of alternator voltage.

The Orion XS now has additional settings allowing derating of its current based on high alternator temperature or low/high alternator RPM.

VE.Can BMS NG

Available from March ’27 we have a new model of BMS (Battery Management System) which is suitable for every installation using our Next Generation (NG) lithium batteries, controlled by a GX device, and connected using either VE.Can, VE.Bus, and/or Bluetooth communication.

Concept render – final design subject to change

Isolated VE.Can connects to a GX device and to VE.Can products; DVCC controls compatible inverter/chargers and solar chargers. The Allowed-to-Charge and Allowed-to-Discharge contacts are solid-state and potential-free allowing control signals to be taken from wherever needed in the system – even when devices don’t share the same ground reference.

A Smart 4 Amp AUX output controls alternator or sheds non-critical loads at low state of charge.

For installers, the VE.Can BMS NG simplifies the choices.
