The training has been designed for the installer whose time is too precious to spend travelling, far away, to attend slow-paced events, working through information they already know – or won’t need to know.

Imagine a three-hour classroom located in the parking lot right outside the Product Distributor you needed to visit anyway! You can get your training in the same visit. Imagine if you could arrive at a time to suit you. Imagine if you could set the training agenda to your own needs. Well …you’ve just imagined the new Victron Energy South Africa Trailer Training.

What makes it different?

• It travels to you. The parking-lot training-school is scheduled to take up temporary residence – for a few days, or a couple of weeks – in a number of locations all around South Africa …so you can choose a location near you.
• It begins when you arrive. The three-hour course has places for 40 delegates and is scheduled to begin at 10 am each day – but if your super-busy, the course trainers can be flexible too.
• You choose the agenda. Say you’re working on site and you hit an unfamiliar problem: if the training is in your area, come along and get the answers you need – right now – to complete a perfect installation! That’s what the training is there for.
• You’ll be trained on fully-operational, live systems. Not just a classroom simulation – you’ll be hands on with five live systems representing the most common installations to be found in S.A.
• Designed for busy people – in three hours you’ll cover all five installation set-ups and receive a completion certificate.
• You’ll learn to choose devices and configure them into complete systems appropriate for your customers’ demands  …and you’ll know where to find more information whenever you need it.

Five Live Installations

Professional knowledgeable Victron Energy trainers will train you on the five live systems – to help you understand how to build any installation, and to answer all your questions.

The training installations represent typical customer systems and include:

• Back-up domestic or business power consisting of a MultiPlus II 3kVA with Cerbo GX, GX Touch 70 and SmartSolar MPPT 250/100 solar charge controller
• For quick and easy-to-install Energy Storage Systems (ESS) the EasySolar-II GX 3kVA
• Domestic, small business, or light industrial three-phase back-up system centred around the MultiPlus II 3kVA
• For upgrading existing power systems there’s a Parallel system cobining 2 x MultiPlus II 3kVA
• And for ESS hybrid system power back-up there’s a Multi RS Solar 48/6000 Inverter Charger with up to 450VDC solar input

 All systems are complete, wired and connected to batteries and solar panel voltage simulators.

Training begins today – January 25th – and runs until July.

Two hundred delegates have already booked their places on this week’s three days of training. You can be part of these inaugural events, which are taking place at the Solar MD factory in Cape Town until February 10th.

The training team expect to be very busy during more than 100 days which have been scheduled. Venues are booked around the Western and Nothern Cape, Guateng, Free State, and both inland and at the coast of KwaZulu-Natal. More dates will follow.
