Alan Peng of Shenzhen Royal Technology Co. Ltd., who are Victron Energy dealers in China contacted us recently, having installed an EV charging station for Toyota using Victron Energy products. The headline image above and the photos below show the installation.
Jan Klumpenaar, who is the Victron Energy Sales Manager for the region, informed me that: “The Toyota EV charging station project was installed at the end of August. The customer and the partner are very satisfied with the HUB-1 solution for PV generation and power supply, for EV charging. The project was installed at the premises of the Toyota EV research center, which hopefully will provide further sales opportunities for renewable energy EV charging stations such as this.”

Conclusion & Credits
Based on the above it is clear that prestige clients such as Toyota have a positive effect on sales, as this has already resulted in another similar off-grid system (3x 5kVA Multis in 3 phase) scheduled for commission this month.
