Training Poland’s installers

SunTrack's purpose-built training facility

Polish authorized distributor of Victron Energy SunTrack decided a few years ago that the secret of success will be to provide as much product knowledge as their installers wish to consume.
In-depth, easily-accessible information helps engineers – and end-users – to understand and fully optimise battery-based power installations which will exceed expectation.
On SunTrack’s website no opportunity has been missed to offer visitors more information about the products they are searching for. Product listings offer general ‘orientation’ – as well as a more detailed description for those wishing to dig deeper.
More widely on the web – SunTrack contribute expert articles to popular industry web portals.
SunTrack are also building a YouTube video library which hosts educational courses in the Polish language. They’ve commissioned a professional presenter to disseminate information with a rolling program of new topics being added all the time.

Purpose-made educational facility

In order to support their installers at every stage – from equipment selection, through assembly and installation, to system startup – SunTrack have also invested in their own purpose-built training facility at which they offer theoretical and practical training on the design and installation of Victron Energy systems for home and industry, automotive, and the marine sectors.
At theses training sessions they take pride in creating easy-to-understand face to face presentations backed by innovative visuals such as the following animation which helps explain how a three-phase grid-tied installation will respond to various events.

In their training room – which is dedicated exclusively to Victron Energy training – a three-phase Victron MultiPlus system has been installed which allows for practical hands-on training during which participants can learn in real-life how to design, connect and program devices in various configurations.

SunTrack believe their marketing and educational initiatives not only achieve better results for the company, but without them the Victron Energy brand would be far less recognisable in Poland, greatly hindering the work of installers. SunTrack’s founder Filip Mączyński says: “Brand recognition and perception are key matters in times of high competition and market flooding by Chinese companies. It’s important to work continually on brand recognition among end customers because without it, they will not choose Victron Energy solutions, but instead will look more favourably at other brands which in the vast majority of cases will be significantly lower in quality.”

‘SunTrack’ Technical Manager and engineer Michał Kata, is the course trainer and the product manager for Victron Energy.

Interview with SunTrack Installer – Piotr Sejfried

“I consistently participate in training sessions offered by SunTrack. Our collaboration is a true synergy – their professionalism and commitment allow me to always be a step ahead of the market. Victron Energy products symbolize the essence of quality for me, which I strive to deliver to my clients, whether we’re talking about home or industrial installations.

Piotr Sejfried is a YouTube channel creator (EkoNiezależny) and an expert in Victron Energy-based installations

My passion for energy independence is vividly expressed on my YouTube channel ‘EkoNiezależny'[https://www.youtube.com/@EkoNiezalezny]. On this platform, I delve into the technical intricacies of energy storage, showcasing the myriad benefits of owning energy storage systems and living off- grid. Notably, I am immensely proud of having implemented the first fully off-grid installation in Poland, based on Victron Energy Quattro inverters, and it’s situated in my own home. This serves as a tangible testament to the feasibility and advantages of such a lifestyle in our country. Thanks to the close cooperation with SunTrack, I feel that I have not only the tools but also the inspiration to spread the idea of energy sovereignty among my community.”
