What is the Venus GX
In case you’re not familiar with this product, it has basically the same abilities as the Color Control GX but without the local screen and buttons. Having said that Venus GX can of course use an external screen like a phone or tablet etc. Due to the lack of the integrated screen – the upshot is it’s lower cost!
Whether it be a Venus GX, a Color Control GX or even a Raspberry Pi running the Venus OS – these units are the communication-centre of your installation. Venus allows you to talk to all components in your system and ensure they are working in harmony. Monitoring of live data, and changing settings is performed by using your smartphone (or other device) via the free-to-use Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM).
