Windows 10 & Victron Energy Software

Good news! If you are considering the free upgrade to Windows 10, Victron Energy software is compatible with it.

Windows 10, according to the Microsoft News Center is available as a free upgrade in 190 countries. More information can be found at: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10-upgrade

Victron Energy Software compatibility

Johannes Boonstra, who you often see helping out and commenting here on the blog, and others have already upgraded their work computers and tested Victron Energy software with Windows 10.

The only hiccup Johannes encountered was that auto-update for VEConfigure didn’t work and he had to reinstall VE Configuration tools to get auto-update working again. Please do the same. Once done everything will work as it should. Other than that there have been no other reported issues.
