Victron sponsored Furia solar boat wins again

As you may recall in a recent blog the CLAFIS Victron Energy solar boat team clinched the Dutch solar boat challenge, just before they dashed off abroad for the Monaco Solar Boat Challenge – which is  billed as ‘A sport for the new generation, inspired by nature and powered by innovation.’

Inspirational it was; the CLAFIS Victron Energy team with their Furia solar boat proved their supremacy once again – ranking first in each and every challenge and winning the overall championship title for the third year running. The icing on the cake was adding a YCM International Speed Record to their list of achievements.

Here’s a short 12 second video of that record:

Conclusion

As the Yacht Club de Monaco’s website says: ‘Dutch unbeatable’. It seems like Victron picked the right team to sponsor!

And it’s all the more heart warming to hear back from them too: “We would like to thank our sponsors, especially CLAFIS and Victron Energy, for enabling us to join these spectacular races and also cheering us on along the way, with unwavering faith and support.”

Victron Energy are delighted to have sponsored the team and congratulate them on their successes. Happy sponsors, happy team – what more can you ask for.
