If you are a German dealer or distributor and you, or your staff, would like to know more about Victron Energy products, how they work and how to get the best from your systems – then Bob Hopman, one of our German Sales Managers is now offering training in German, as well as English if required.
The next available German language dates this month are on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th of June. The location is Schweinfurt, Germany. Places are limited to 18, so it would be best to get in touch with Bob as soon as possible.
To cater for any extra numbers, further dates in September (16th/17th) and December (02nd / 03rd) this year are also planned.

The training is split into two days. The first day is the theoretical side of technical sales and covers Victron Energy’s complete product range. The second day is more practical, where you can gain hands on experience by using your laptop to configure for example; an ECOmulti, 3-phase system and an EasySolar.
Training notes
- To go on the second training day, the first one also needs to be attended
- Attendees will use their own laptop and configure products using VEConfigure
- Demonstrations of MPPT sizing and the use of mpptprefs
- All training is free of charge and includes lunch and drinks
Any hotels required should be booked by the attendees themselves, but Bob will always send you his best recommendation to assist you.
If my German was better than merely saying please and thank you and ordering a beer, I know I’d certainly attend one of Bob’s workshops – as his knowledge on all matters solar is second to none. As good as having your own personal solar consultant I’d say, plus of course Bob has excellent knowledge on all things Victron.
