3. LED indicators
The GlobalLink 520 has a multi-colour LED to indicate its operational status. See the table below for the colour code and its meaning
LED colour  | LED state  | Meaning  | 
|---|---|---|
Blue  | Blinking   | Connecting to VRM. If the LED keeps blinking blue, check the network coverage for your region.  | 
Green  | Blinking   | Everything is OK: A connection has been made both to the VRM and to two VE.Direct devices.  | 
Green/Yellow  | Blinking   | The device is connected to VRM, but only to one VE.Direct device: Check the cable and power to the second VE.Direct device.  | 
Yellow  | Blinking   | The device is connected to VRM, but not to a VE.Direct device: Check the cable and power to the VE.Direct device.  | 
Red  | Continuous   | The device detected a problem and will automatically reboot to try and rectify it. This process usually takes a few minutes.  | 
Purple  | Blinking   | The device is updating its software. This process usually takes a few minutes.  |
