Victron energy is a leading supplier of advanced electric power conversion products.
Applications include land based off-grid power, mobile power and professional as well as leisure marine power.

Products find their way to professional and private end users through a worldwide network of distributors, OEM's and electric installers.

A team of Area Sales Mangers supervises and supports the ditribution network and, very important, is actively indentifying new business and markets.
Our Area Sales Managers live in or near the area for which tey are responsible.
Some were sales professionals when joining us; others had a technical or service background and learned to deploy their hidden sales talent with help form our sales team.  

Job role

The Area Sales Manager is a sales professional capable of:

• Generating profitable sales by developing business with existing accounts.
• Identifying and developing new business and markets.
• Assisting customers design and operate reliable, cost effective and efficient AC or DC power systems.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for the type of person who, possibly after a period of training, loves to jump in the deep and sell, who loves to generate new relationships and believes in a consultative sales approach, focused on the client’s needs.

Basic electro technical knowledge, acquired through education or experience is a must. Further training will be provided if needed.

The Sales Area

The Sales Area will be determined depending on:

• The preferences and capabilities of the candidate, such as domicile, language skills, sales experience and product knowledge.
• The existing area partition and preferences of the other members of the sales team.

What's on offer

Salary, bonus on sales growth, and associated pacakage will be dependent on experience.
