This often makes putting together and working on a system much easier.<\/p>\n<p>Such a format is available from Pylon Technologies, and these modular battery systems are now deemed to be compatible with all Victron Energy&#8217;s 48V <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/inverters-chargers\/multiplus-12v-24v-48v-800va-3kva\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MultiPlus<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/inverters-chargers\/quattro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Quattro<\/a> range of inverter\/chargers, including the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/inverters-chargers\/multiplus-ii\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MultiGrid<\/a>. Victron&#8217;s local and remote (via the <a href=\"https:\/\/vrm.victronenergy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">VRM Portal<\/a>) battery monitoring &amp; management system &#8211; the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/panel-systems-remote-monitoring\/color-control\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Color Control GX<\/a> is a requirement for the system.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"full-size-image container\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7906\" src=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2016\/10\/PYLONTECH_21146833.png\" alt=\"pylontech\" width=\"173\" height=\"39\" \/><\/div><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here is what Victron Energy&#8217;s MD, Matthijs Vader had to say after a visit by Pylon Technologies to Victron&#8217;s R&amp;D centre in Groningen. The key points he noted were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I was impressed with the PylonTech batteries; nice looking 19&#8243; models with a neat bracket system that allows installation of a few of them without having to use an (expensive) 19&#8243; cabinet.<\/li>\n<li>Within two days of testing, we could already conclude that our systems can cooperate.<\/li>\n<li>With PylonTech, it&#8217;s easy to configure different capacities. Multiples of their modules can be combined together and in doing so they automatically recognise each other; forming one clean operating battery bank.<\/li>\n<li>From the Victron viewpoint, their 48V batteries can work with all our 48V MultiPlus and Quattro range, meaning our full range from 500VA to 15000VA applies. A unique feature in the energy storage market.<\/li>\n<li>From Color Control GX <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/blog\/2016\/10\/24\/color-control-gx-v1-72\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">firmware version 1.72<\/a>, PylonTech systems are now supported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2016\/10\/US2000-B-with-Cabinet-1_21148897.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-blogpost-content wp-image-7922\" src=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2016\/10\/US2000-B-with-Cabinet-1_21148897-690x919.jpg\" alt=\"us2000-b-with-cabinet-1\" width=\"690\" height=\"919\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2016\/10\/US2000-B-with-Cabinet-1_21148897-690x919.jpg 690w, https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2016\/10\/US2000-B-with-Cabinet-1_21148897.jpg 730w, https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2016\/10\/US2000-B-with-Cabinet-1_21148897-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>PYLONTECH models<\/h3>\n<p>Two models are compatible with the Victron products detailed above. Internally these PylonTech models are the same, with only the exterior design differing to accommodate differing design tastes.<\/p>\n<p>The images below show these models. Each module is 48V and 50Ah.
