Guards are added to avoid adding a negative value to the yield counter, and at start-up the contents of the yield counter is checked: if it contains an excessive value the counter is reset.<\/li>\n<li>Setup\/history menu: auto-exit to normal operation after 2 minutes idle.<\/li>\n<li>CAN network address can be checked in the setup menu (for identification), item 59<\/li>\n<li>Only send\/show persistent alarms.<\/li>\n<li>Fix automatic equalisation: in certain conditions it would stop too early with equalising.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The new firmware files are available through <a href=\"https:\/\/professional.victronenergy.com\" target=\"_blank\">Victron Professional<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>How to update<\/h3>\n<p>There are two ways to update the firmware\u00a0of these charge controllers:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">MPPT\u00a0connected locally to the laptop.
