As 2015 draws to a close we reflect on one of the most recent (in fact one of the many) shows Victron Energy exhibited at in 2015 – and of course there are many more events scheduled for 2016<\/a> including Nautic 2016.<\/p>\n

Nautic 2015<\/h3>\n

Nautic 2015 was held at Salon Nautique International de Paris, Porte de Versailles from 4th to 13th December.<\/p>\n

The French are amongst the most passionate sailors on the planet and even though visitor numbers were down a little, likely due to the terrorist attack and the United Nations Climate Change Conference<\/span> – the show still attracted over 200,000 visitors.<\/p>\n

The Victron Energy stand was designed by Margriet Franckena, owner of www.ef-belettering.nl<\/a>, supervised by Jaap van Hasselt who is\u00a0 Victron Energy’s sales manager in France. The Victron team for the show consisted of Jaap and Alix Van Hasselt, Bob Hopman<\/a>, Jacques Noel and the much appreciated support of two of the main French Victron Energy distributors: Peter Kroonenberg from PK Fluvial<\/a> and Jean Christophe Clerc from\u00a0 SPN Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de Prestations Nautiques.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Victron Energy stand<\/h3>\n

Here in Jacques’s words is his experience of Nautic 2015.<\/p>\n

“The Victron Energy stand was well located and very well constructed. We had a big schematic of a typical boat installation, such as we find in the Marine Brochure<\/a>. This attracted many of the show visitors’ attention – drawing them to our stand, asking lots of questions. This proved to be a very efficient way of engaging present and potential customers.”<\/p>\n

“On display also were some of our many different types of batteries including VLRA and Lithium technologies. As is typical with the marine world many visitors requested more battery information and our help in understanding the challenges of marine batteries. Interestingly the split in interest between VRLA & Lithium questions was about 50\/50, showing just how much interest has grown in Lithium-ion use for the boating world.”<\/p>\n
