We highly recommend checking out the new versions:<\/p>\n<h4>VEConfigure Documentation<\/h4>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/media\/pg\/VEConfigure_Manual\/en\/introduction-and-requirements.html\" target=\"_blank\">VEConfigure documentation<\/a>\u00a0has been redrafted. The schematics were drawn by <a href=\"mailto:pbje@icloud.com\" target=\"_blank\">Peter Bakker<\/a>\u00a0who has thirty years experience of leisure boat and van installations and likes to work from the ground up &#8211; covering everything from wiring gauges and fuse ratings &#8211; to an installation which keeps one eye on the future. Take a look at the section on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/live\/ccgx:start#dvcc_-_distributed_voltage_and_current_control\" target=\"_blank\">Distributed Voltage and Current Control &#8211; DVCC<\/a>\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>The new section has a better description of this feature and provides advice about whether DVCC should be enabled in relation to Battery type and System configuration. A list of the minimum firmware versions required for DVCC to operate satisfactorily has been included for all relevant Victron hardware.<\/p>\n<p>The new text explains what effects enabling DVCC will have on the battery charge algorithm, and how the system is modified by DVCC in a variety of configurations &#8211; including ESS.<\/p>\n<p>Many thanks to Guy Stewart and to Peter Bakker for their very useful input to the VEConfigure document and to the Marine diagrams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Justin Tyers<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A number of major changes to our documentation have been completed.
