If your Color Control\u00a0is set to receive automatic updates it will now be updated. If not, you can choose to update it now. To update via its internet connection, simply use the check for updates and update now functions on the display.<\/p>\n<p>For an offline update, download the latest images here: <a href=\"https:\/\/updates.victronenergy.com\/feeds\/venus\/release\/images\/ccgx\/venus-upgrade-image-ccgx.zip\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/updates.victronenergy.com\/feeds\/venus\/release\/images\/ccgx\/venus-upgrade-image-ccgx.zip<\/a>\u00a0And follow these instructions:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Color-Control-how-to-update-firmware-with-USB-stick-or-SD-card.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Color Control &#8211; how to update firmware with USB-stick or SD-card<\/a>\u00a0(pdf).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Changes<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Added MPPTs 100\/30, 100\/50 and 150\/35. Note that the other new BlueSolar MPPT charge controller, \u00a0the 150\/85 was already supported. See our website for an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/solar-charge-controllers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">overview of all available MPPT\u00a0and PWM charge controllers<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed all known internet and LAN connection problems: when connected to\u00a0some specific brands of routers, and especially in combination with an unreliable internet connection, the Color Control\u00a0could lose its internet connection\u00a0and would need a reset to get back online again. I am glad to report that all known issues are now fixed, and verified at the customer installations where they were found. Of course there can be new issues, so please do let us know if you encounter any.<\/li>\n<li>Added Modbus-TCP gateway functionality: this is a great improvement for customers that integrate our equipment into their own monitoring and control systems, for example SCADA and\/or PLC systems. Since Modbus-TCP is a widely used international standard, available on almost all PLCs, this will make it very easy. And when we launch new products, we&#8217;ll make sure that they are supported by the Color Control, and with that they&#8217;ll be available via the Modbus-TCP gateway automatically. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/upload\/documents\/Whitepaper-Data-communication-with-Victron-Energy-products_EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Read our whitepaper on data communication<\/a> for more information.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed bug &#8220;after leaving the menu in the User type selection screen for a long time, the interface crashes and you are left with a white display&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Fixed &#8220;Remote support on\/off setting will be changed from On to Off after a manual firmware update with a recovery image&#8221;. It will now stay in the same mode after the recovery, just like all other settings.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed bug in Auto-update mechanism: the mechanism would get stuck in a small percentage of systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And there are more internal stability improvements and bug fixes.<\/p>\n<h3>Known issues<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Finding a USB-GPS might take a while<\/li>\n<li>Recovery from USB sticks: does not work on all sticks.<\/li>\n<li>For some PV Inverters, the power and current readings measured with the AC Current Sensors stick at 50 to 140 Watts during the night, instead of showing 0 Watt.<\/li>\n<li>Almost all data from the Lynx Ion is missing if there is no Ion Control in the network. Only data shown are some cell voltages. This bug has been in the code since the beginning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Up next<\/h3>\n<p>Now, with these internet issues out of the way, we have a whole bunch of almost finished projects that can be released in the coming months. They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support for the Skylla-i<\/li>\n<li>Support for USB-WiFi sticks<\/li>\n<li>Add wireless AC sensors, as an alternative to our AC Current Sensor<\/li>\n<li>Add Remote VEConfigure for VE.Bus products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wishing you a good remainder of the weekend!
