Now we can add the following models, also with Bluetooth Smart built-in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/solar-charge-controllers\/smartsolar-100-30-100-50\" target=\"_blank\">SmartSolar MPPT 100\/30<\/a> &#8211; 12 \/ 24 Volt (awaiting stock)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/solar-charge-controllers\/smartsolar-100-30-100-50\" target=\"_blank\">SmartSolar MPPT 100\/50<\/a> &#8211; 12 \/ 24 Volt (currently in stock)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/solar-charge-controllers\/smartsolar-150-35\" target=\"_blank\">SmartSolar MPPT 150\/35<\/a> &#8211; 12 \/ 24 \/ 36 \/ 48 Volt (currently in stock)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As Bluetooth Smart is built-in there&#8217;s no need for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/accessories\/ve-direct-to-usb-interface\" target=\"_blank\">VE.Direct to USB interface<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/accessories\/ve-direct-bluetooth-smart-dongle\" target=\"_blank\">VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle<\/a> to use the free VictronConnect software or app, as you would need to do with the standard MPPTs.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>VictronConnect<\/h3>\n<p>Cables and dongles aside now is certainly the time to go Bluetooth Smart built-in &#8211; especially with the release this week of VictronConnect v3.1 which has a demo mode, can save, share &amp; load files and more.<\/p>\n<p>See what VictronConnect v3.1 can do <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/blog\/2017\/08\/01\/victronconnect-v3-1-released-demo-save-share-load\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Pending additional certification<\/h3>\n<p>Whilst the standard BlueSolar MPPTs have recently been awarded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/blog\/2017\/07\/24\/bluesolar-mppts-awarded-ul-1741-and-csa-c22-2-certification\/\" target=\"_blank\">UL 1741 and CSA C22.2 compliance<\/a> the SmartSolar models are expected to be certified before the year end also.<\/p>\n<h3>SmartSolar<\/h3>\n<p>If you are not familiar with Victron Energy&#8217;s range of SmartSolar MPPTs this is what they do.<\/p>\n<p>These are ultra-fast, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), solar charge controllers with built-in Bluetooth and by utilising the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/support-and-downloads\/software#victronconnect-app\" target=\"_blank\">free VictronConnect app<\/a> many parameters can be viewed and set, such as battery voltage, solar history, load output, flexible battery charge algorithms plus day\/night timing and light dimming options.
