If you are familiar with Victron Energy products you might just have noticed that 48V is now included in the new range, which wasn&#8217;t the case with the Compacts. The new range is gradually being introduced. Note there is now one VE.BUS connection due to space constraints, whereas there were two previously (which were paralleled anyhow).<\/p><\/div>\n<h3>MultiPlus Magic<\/h3>\n<p>If you are an end user you might not be aware of all that can be done with a MultiPlus. Here&#8217;s a pr\u00e9cis\u00a0 of this multifunctional product.<\/p>\n<p>The MultiPlus, as the name suggests, is a combined inverter and charger in one elegant package. Its many features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology, plus multiple system integration features.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more please see the blog <a href=\"https:\/\/www.victronenergy.com\/blog\/2016\/08\/29\/multiplus-magic-small-generator-big-power\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;MultiPlus magic: Small generator, big power<\/a>&#8216;, where I do my best to explain much that a MultiPlus can do.<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusion<\/h3>\n<p><em>Important note:<\/em> The 500VA is a Multi at present, as it lacks PowerAssist, paralleling and three-phase capabilities. That however is set to change with a firmware and hardware update, so it too will be a new model and fully featured MultiPlus, just as the 800VA currently is.
