The mobility market is one of the markets for which power supply is of the utmost importance. Particularly users of electrical scootmobiles depend on reliable power. Our broad product range guarantees a reliable power supply, whenever and wherever you are. Our (maintenance free) batteries provide power while our battery chargers guarantee an optimum charge process and a longer service life of the batteries. As mobility plays an important role, Victron Engery offers a complete range of compact inverters allowing you to charge the scootmobile in the car as well.
As the batteries' durability is of the utmost importance, Victron Energy has developed the Battery Alert©. A smart device that warns the user when the battery needs to be charged again. This way, maintenance costs and (early) replacement of batteries can be considerably reduced.
Ghana, Africa: The Ministry of Energy from Africa introduced solar powered scooters to persons with disability. Two solar panels are mounted as a roof above the scooter to harvest energy from the sun and also to offer shade and comfort for the driver. There is a Victron BMV600S installed to monitor the battery on board of the scooter, so the driver can check the state of charge of the battery at all times. The Ministry of Energy aims to build local capacity and creates jobs with this innovation.
Two AC inputs with integrated transfer switch. The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example shore-side power and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro will automatically connect to the active source.
All Quattro- and several Multi inverter/chargers now have two AC outputs. In addition to the standard no-break output, an auxiliary output is available which disconnects the connected load during battery operation. It is, for example, the perfect solution for preventing an electric water heater from discharging your battery.
