Quattro

Quattro

3kVA - 5kVA - 8kVA - 10kVA

Two AC inputs with integrated transfer switch
The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example shore-side power and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro will automatically connect to the active source.

Two AC Outputs
The main output has no-break functionality. In the event of a grid failure, or shore or generator power being disconnected, the Quattro takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption. The second output is live only when AC is available on one of the inputs of the Quattro. Loads that should not discharge the battery, such as air-conditioning or a water heater can be connected to this output.

Unique PowerAssist feature
The Quattro will prevent overload of a limited AC source. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery.

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation
Up to 6 Quattros can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three phase or split phase operation is also possible.

Accessories

Digital Multi Control Panel GX

The Digital Multi Control Panel GX is the same as the previous version, but with a new design. An extra advantage of this panel is the easy mounting: the included mounting frame allows the user to mount the panel from either front or back side. Due to the mounting frame, the mounting holes will no longer be in sight.
The body of the GX panel is made of plastic, which makes the panel lighter and adds a modern look to the panel.

VE.Net Blue Power Panel GX

The Blue Power Panel GX is the same as the Blue Power Panel 2, but with a new design.

VE.Bus Multi Control

This panel is intended both for Multi's and Quattro's. It allows PowerControl and PowerAssist current limit setting for two AC sources: a generator and shore-side current for example.
Variable setting range (with the rotary knob): up to 16 Amps (VE.Bus Multi Control 16/200A panel)
Fixed setting range (for both models): up to 200 Amps.
The brightness of the LED's is automatically reduced during night time.

Digital Multi Control 200/200A

This panel is intended both for Multi's and Quattro's. It allows PowerControl and PowerAssist current limit setting for two AC sources: a generator and shore-side current for example.
Setting range: up to 200 Amps.
The brightness of the LED's is automatically reduced during night time.

Battery Alarm

An excessively high or low battery voltage is indicated by an audible and visual alarm, and a relay for remote signalling.

Interface 1140

The Interface 1140, part number ASS0305100, connects to the output of the alternator: between the alternator and the inverter/rectifier. The Interface 1140 measures the frequency, as a function of the RPM. Based on the RPM automatically adjust the input current limit of a Multi or Quattro, to always take the maximum amount of available power from the generator without stalling it.

RJ45 UTP Cable

Allows to connect Phoenix Inverter Control or VE Interface MK2b.

10M ASS030065010
15M ASS030065020

VE Interface MK.2.2B and VE interface MK2-USB

Phoenix Inverters are ready to communicate with a computer through its RS-485 data port. All you need to link to your PC in order to be able to set and read out all parameters is the data link as shown. Moreover, all Victron Energy products equipped with an RS-485 data port, such as VE.Net, can easily be integrated in a computerized monitoring and control system.

Only for models: 12/1200, 12/1600, 12/3000, 12/5000, 24/1200, 24/1600, 24/3000, 24/5000, 48/3000, 48/5000, 48/8000, 48/10.000

VE-Configure software and a RJ45 UTP cable required.

More Power

Two AC inputs with integrated transfer switch. The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example shore-side power and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro will automatically connect to the active source.

New Quattro. More power.

Two AC outputs

All Quattro- and several Multi inverter/chargers now have two AC outputs. In addition to the standard no-break output, an auxiliary output is available which disconnects the connected load during battery operation. It is, for example, the perfect solution for preventing an electric water heater from discharging your battery.

New Quattro. New Multiplus. Two AC ouputs.
