Color Control GX: v1.21 Firmware released

Firmware version v1.21 for the Color Control GX has now been released.

Changelog

The changelog from v1.20 to v1.21 is:

 The known issues are:

Full description for bug: ‘Power (W) and energy readings (kWh) incorrect for parallel systems’

Affected systems:

VE.Bus systems with units running in parallel: in single phase installation (2 or more units), split-phase (4 or more units) and three phase (6 or more units).

 Description:

The reported Power (W) and Energy readings (kWh) are wrong while connected to the AC input, for example during charge and pass-through operation. The bug was in the VE.Bus firmware, and has been fixed in VE.Bus firmware version xxxx159, xxxx209, xxxx306. That firmware was released on February 17th.

CCGX version v1.21 and newer work around this bug by checking the VE.Bus firmware version when it detects a parallel system. When the VE.Bus firmware version contains the fix for the Power and Energy readings, it does nothing special. When it detects an older VE.Bus firmware, it activates a work around:

1)      It uses the real power from each phase-master, and multiplies that with the number of slaves.

2)      It no longer reports kWh readings for the VRM solar yield and consumption tab.
