New Victron Website: Built at Victron’s solar powered head office

As we move toward wrapping up (sic) 2014,  it seems 2015 will commence in style, as earlier today Matthijs Vader emailed me from their solar powered head office and said:

“I’m not sure if you were aware that there has been a new website in the works for a long time . We plan to go live today,  and then afterwards continue with further improvements.”

I thought Marianka (she of Victron Calendar fame) had been quiet recently. Now I know why!

It turns out it is she who has been doing some of the hard work behind the scenes, making changes to text and documents, as well as telling the web-companies (ytec & TriMM ) what needed doing. And I thought she’d gone on holiday early 😉

A big thanks in that case must also go to http://www.ytec.nl and http://www.trimm.nl without whose website building skills, none of this would have been possible.

Having been lucky enough to get a glimpse of the site just prior to launch, I have to say it is far more 21st century, with a clear, crisp and more modern feel to it.  It is also good to see a Sitemap now at the bottom of the pages. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

We hope you enjoy all the hard work that has gone into the making of the new Victron Energy website, from Victron’s solar powered head office.
