VE.Bus to NMEA2000 interface
This drop cable connects a VE.Bus product, for example a Multi or Quattro, to a NMEA2000 network. It transmits monitoring information, AC voltages and currents, DC voltages and currents and the state. Other NMEA2000 devices can also send commands to the VE.Bus product to turn it on or off, or change in the input current limit.
BMV to NMEA2000 interface
The BMV NMEA 2000 drop cable makes the BMV information available to an NMEA2000 networks. Battery information such as voltage, current and state of charge can be displayed on common purpose displays from other manufacturers which accept the NMEA 2000 data being sent.

Above mentioned interfaces provide a canbus connection to products that do not have an onboard canbus communication port. More and more Victron products have direct canbus communication, for example the Skylla-i chargers and the Lynx Shunt battery monitor.
See our whitepaper on data-communication for more technical information and a complete list of products that have a canbus communication port.
Two AC inputs with integrated transfer switch. The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example shore-side power and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro will automatically connect to the active source.
All Quattro- and several Multi inverter/chargers now have two AC outputs. In addition to the standard no-break output, an auxiliary output is available which disconnects the connected load during battery operation. It is, for example, the perfect solution for preventing an electric water heater from discharging your battery.
